About the BookADream Blog
The BookADream blog covers how to get hard-to-book Disney reservations: dining, experiences like Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and what to do when everything looks sold out.
Hi, I'm Jacob
BookADream started in 2024 with an idea from my sister. She was trying to get a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appointment for my niece, and every slot was gone. She'd refreshed and refreshed and was at a loss. I have a computer science background, so I built a small tool on Discord that watched for openings and pinged us when one appeared. It worked: an opening came through, and my niece got her makeover as Cinderella.
That little Discord tool has since grown into a full site that other families use to catch the reservations they thought they'd missed. I still use it for my own family's Disney trips, and this blog is where I share what I've learned along the way.

Who writes it
The blog is written by Jacob, the founder of BookADream. Jacob built BookADream to catch Disney reservation openings and uses it to book his own family's Walt Disney World trips.
Why this blog exists
Most Disney booking advice repeats the same general rules. BookADream monitors Disney reservation availability around the clock, so we can see when openings actually appear and share what we observe, not just what's generally assumed.
Where our data comes from
Since summer 2025, BookADream has monitored restaurants and experiences across Walt Disney World and Disneyland for nearly 500 Disney fans. When a post cites BookADream data, it describes openings we observed for the dates and party sizes our users were tracking. Each post notes the date range and the limits of that data. It doesn't cover every cancellation.
How we write and check posts
Some posts are drafted with AI assistance. Before publishing, facts that change over time, like booking windows, prices, locations, and policies, are checked against official Disney sources, which each post links. Posts show when they were last updated or verified.
Independence
BookADream is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by The Walt Disney Company.
Corrections
Disney changes its policies often. If you spot something out of date or wrong, reach out through bookadream.com and we'll correct it.
