- Garden Grill breakfast is the lowest price of the five. Chef Mickey’s dinner is the highest.
- Kids 10 and up change the math. They pay adult prices, so a family with older kids pays noticeably more.

Each meal in brief
Chef Mickey’s (Contemporary Resort)
A character buffet at breakfast or dinner with Mickey and friends, with the monorail gliding past. Disney says each table gets an autographed keepsake card. The highest price here, especially at dinner. It’s also the only one of the five on the monorail, which is handy on a Magic Kingdom day.
Tusker House (Animal Kingdom)
A buffet at all three meals, with Mickey, Donald and friends dressed for safari. The food is African-inspired, with familiar choices like Mickey waffles at breakfast. A natural fit for an Animal Kingdom day.
The Crystal Palace (Magic Kingdom)
A buffet at all three meals in a Victorian greenhouse-style building, where Winnie the Pooh and friends visit. Disney suggests allowing about 90 minutes to meet all the characters. Good for Pooh fans on a Magic Kingdom day.
Garden Grill (EPCOT)
A family-style meal (platters brought to your table) in a slowly rotating dining room overlooking the Living with the Land attraction. Chip, Dale and Mickey visit tables. Disney says many of the vegetables come from the Living with the Land greenhouses. The lowest breakfast price of the five.
Topolino’s Terrace (Riviera Resort)
Breakfast à la Art: a plated breakfast on the rooftop with Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy in outfits unique to Topolino’s. Characters appear only at breakfast. Dinner is a separate Signature Dining experience with no characters. The hardest to book in our data: fewer than half of alerts saw an opening, after a median wait of about 25 days. Book at your 60-day mark if it’s a priority.
How to choose
- Start with the characters your child cares about: Pooh (Crystal Palace), Chip and Dale (Garden Grill), or classic Mickey and friends (the others).
- Match the park you’ll be in that day. A character meal across property costs you park time.
- Choose breakfast to save money. It was the cheapest meal at every restaurant here.
- Pick the format that fits your kids: a buffet if they like to choose, family-style if you’d rather stay seated, plated at Topolino’s.
- For Topolino’s, plan ahead. See how the 60-day window works, and hold a backup (backup-plan playbook).
